Scott became involved with the P&O industry and an adaptive life when his leg was amputated in 1970. Always leading an active lifestyle he developed passions for scuba, rock climbing, skiing, biking and kayaking.
Since his first jobs in the technical department at Hosmer Dorrance and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, Scott's unique combination of process development and technical expertise have made a significant impact on the O&P industry.
For the past twenty years He has been an industry speaker, technical lecturer, and author.
In 2015 he was awarded the prestigious “O&P News 175 Innovators in Orthotics & Prosthetics” award for his lasting industry contributions.
